THE LAB WORKSHOPS

Le Lab organizes 5 workshops a year. In these workshops, we bring together professionals from across the audiovisual chain (directors, actors, producers, distributors, exhibitors, scriptwriters, “technical” professions, institutions, film music, video games, tech professionals, etc.) with different levels of awareness of our subjects.

Our workshops are run using collective intelligence methods and aim to :

  • Generate awareness,
  • Create moments of exchange and encounter,
  • Bring out concrete ideas for solving a given problem. Ultimately, the Lab has a lobbying dimension, so that the ideas that emerge from our workshops today become the actions of tomorrow.

You’ll find the reports of all our workshops below, with the names of participants, the themes addressed, the proposed solutions and the nugget quotes!

In all our reports, we use the Chatham House Rule. This rule is used to regulate the confidentiality of information exchanged during a meeting: when a meeting is held under this rule, participants are free to use the information gathered on this occasion, but they must not reveal the identity or affiliation of the people behind the information. This allows for greater freedom of speech and stronger positions. The list of workshop participants, on the other hand, is public, in order to indicate the diversity and quality of those present, and to give value to the ideas put forward.
